At The Whole Tribe, we are committed to providing the highest quality nutrition for you and your pets. Due to the nature of our products (consumables and perishables), our policies are designed to ensure safety, hygiene, and legal clarity.

1. Refund & Return Policy

1.1. Non-Returnable Items For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any food items (human or pet) once they have been dispatched. This applies to all products under Aadi Edibles and Fire Foods. We do not offer refunds based on personal taste preferences or pet palatability issues.

1.2. Damaged or Wrong Products In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, unsealed, or if you received the wrong item, we will offer a full replacement or refund. To claim a refund/replacement, you must:

Record an Unboxing Video: Mandatory. Please record a video while opening the parcel. This helps us claim insurance from our courier partners.

Report within 24 Hours: Notify us via email (hello@thewholetribe.com) or WhatsApp (+91 94038 91200) within 24 hours of delivery.

Provide Proof: Send the unboxing video and clear photos of the damaged product/batch number.

Note: Minor damage to external cardboard packaging (dents/scratches) that does not affect the food seal or quality inside is not grounds for a refund.

1.3. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (Credit Card/UPI) within 5-7 business days of notifying us.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1. Before Dispatch You may cancel your order for a full refund if it has not yet been shipped. Please email us immediately with your Order ID.

2.2. After Dispatch Once the tracking number is generated (via Shiprocket/iCarry), orders cannot be cancelled or intercepted.

3. Product & Health Disclaimers

3.1. Aadi Edibles (Pet Treats)

Not a Meal Replacement: Our products are designed as treats/complementary food. They should not replace a complete and balanced diet for your pet.

Feeding Guide: Please follow the feeding guidelines on the packet. Overfeeding treats can lead to digestive upset.

Storage: Our treats are preservative-free. They must be stored in a cool, dry place or refrigerated as per the label instructions. We are not responsible for spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.

Consult Your Vet: If your pet has specific allergies or medical conditions, please consult your veterinarian before introducing new proteins.

3.2. Fire Foods (Spices, Sauces & Jerkies)

Allergen Warning: Our products are processed in a facility that may handle nuts, soy, mustard, and wheat. Please read the ingredient label carefully.

Batch Variation: As we use natural, locally sourced ingredients without artificial color stabilizers, slight variations in color, heat, or texture may occur between batches. This is a sign of natural quality, not a defect.

4. Shipping, Processing & Liability

4.1. Processing Time (When do we ship?) We strive to dispatch all orders within 24 to 48 hours of receiving payment confirmation.

Working Days: Orders are shipped Monday to Saturday. Orders placed on Sundays or Public Holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.

Freshness Note: To ensure your treats and oils spend the minimum amount of time in transit, orders placed late on Saturday may be held and shipped on Monday morning.

4.2. Courier Partners & Timeline We use trusted shipping aggregators, primarily Shiprocket and iCarry, to ensure reliable delivery across India.

Standard Delivery: Most metros receive orders within 3-5 days. Rest of India takes 5-7 days.

Delays: While we ensure items are packed securely and handed over on time, we cannot control delays caused by weather, strikes, or remote location accessibility.

4.3. Failed Deliveries If a package is returned to us because the customer provided an incorrect address or was unavailable after multiple attempts, a re-shipping fee of ₹100 (or actuals) will be applicable.

5. Privacy, Cookies & Content Policy

5.1. Data Privacy At The Whole Tribe, we value your trust. We only collect basic personal information (Name, Address, Phone, Email) required to process and deliver your order. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except for our logistics partners (like Shiprocket/iCarry) for the purpose of delivery. Your payment details are processed securely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.

5.2. Cookie Policy We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Essential Cookies: Required for the operation of the website (e.g., keeping items in your shopping cart).

Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with the website. By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of these cookies. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but some parts of our store (like checkout) may not function properly.

5.3. User Generated Content & Media Rights Grant of License: By sharing photos, videos, or written reviews with us via WhatsApp, social media (tagging @TheWholeTribeGoa or @AadiEdibles or @FireFoodsGoa), or at our market pop-ups, you grant The Whole Tribe a royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to repost, modify, and use this content for marketing purposes.

Protection Against Third-Party Theft: All content displayed on our platforms is protected intellectual property. Unauthorized use, scraping, or reproduction of this content by third parties or competitors is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. We reserve the right to pursue immediate legal action against any entity found using our community’s content or our brand assets for commercial gain without our express written consent.

6. Legal, Liability & Indemnification

6.1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.

6.2. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Whole Tribe (and its directors, officers, Team Members, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific order.

6.3. Force Majeure We shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to "Acts of God" (fire, flood, severe weather, or monsoon delays), government restrictions, or logistics strikes.

6.4. Indemnification (Legal Shield) You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Whole Tribe, its directors, and Team Members (regular, seasonal, and market staff) from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the website, violation of these Terms, or interactions at our physical locations.

6.5. Code of Conduct & Safety (Market Pop-ups) We prioritize the safety and dignity of our Tribe. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, verbal abuse, or aggressive behavior towards our Team Members, whether online or at our physical market stalls.

Right to Refuse: Our Team Members are empowered to refuse service or sale to anyone who behaves inappropriately or makes them feel unsafe.

Market Protocols: At pop-up events, our Team’s decision regarding stock availability, pricing, or queue management is final.

7. Intellectual Property Rights (Brand Protection)

7.1. Ownership The brand names "The Whole Tribe," "Aadi Edibles," "Fire Foods" and "Fire Foods Goa," along with all associated logos, slogans, product descriptions, recipes, and imagery, are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.

7.2. Prohibitions Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use any trademark, logo, or brand name of The Whole Tribe. You may not use our brand names in meta tags, hidden text, or ad keywords without our express written consent. Unauthorized commercial use of our brand assets will result in immediate legal action.
